What is Jungle Ropes?

Aqua Chimp Jungle Ropes is a thrilling, harness-free over-water climbing course featuring 19 floating platforms and 28 rope-based challenges. With obstacles ranging from swings to suspended crossings, it delivers a fun, adrenaline-filled jungle adventure for all skill levels.
All participants must wear either trainers, wetsuit shoes or grip socks to go on the course. Grip socks are available at reception (£3)

The starting points will offer different routes of mixed ability and these are all clearly marked on the course.
Blue - Easy
Red - Medium
Black - Hard
Access to the water is from a pontoon and it is only a short swim to the course. There are a number of entry points including a mix of access stairs or hanging ladders.
The challenges are set around 1.5 metres above the water, and do not worry if you have a wobble and fall in as you will then swim to an entry point and start another challenge.
At the end of the routes there are some great exit features including the monkey plank, rope swing, inflatable slide or monkey slide for an exhilarating exit in the water. If you get tired there is a hammock on the course and a floating platform on the water.
